christmas.
Now that Thanksgiving is out of the way, we can all move on to Christmas. All the shops are fully decorated, the country stations are playing Christmas tunes, and my mother is currently having the boys bring down the accoutrements for the season. I stole an ornament off the floor at FAO Schwartz the other day--a glittery snowflake. This is my lone decoration, aside from a 1978 family photo taken at my grandmother's on the eve of the great noel.
I was at Urban Outfitters on Thursday, which is also all decked out for the holiday. The ornaments on the store's tree were glitter-coated grenades and hand guns. Totally part of the Christmas season. Um, yeah.
