Toys for Tots

I organized a toy drive at my work, with all the toys to go to Toys for Tots. We collected a good number of toys. Among my favorites are an adorable stuffed monkey (purchased by moi), a Diego helicopter, and a power house guitar with a whammy bar. There are also many coloring and sticker books, art supplies, play-doh, a remote-control truck, block sets, and, did I mention, an adorable stuffed monkey named Twiddle.

I made cookies and offered clementines (which are so good; they taste like summer and Christmas) as an incentive to give to the toy drive. Of course, I did not deny anyone cookies if they weren't able to bring a toy.

I really love buying toys for local, in-need tots. I didn't get the tots in my own life anything, but I'm sure their parents won't mind that I spent my money on charity this year. Or, at least, I hope they won't.

Great idea Leslie. This time of year makes me especially mindful of how little some people have. Thanks for taking the initiative!
