It's real wintery here in New York. It snowed! And they say it might snow again on Wednesday. All the Christmas tree vendors have set up shop, so there are cut pine trees every few blocks or so. I like it; they smell good. And really, I can't complain about the twinkly lights that are up everywhere.

I can, and will, complain about the Christmas carols. Too many, too soon. That can wait until Christmas week, if you ask me.

Christmas is at my house this year. I may get a small tree, one of those little potted ones. Maybe I can send it home with my parents after the big day.

Also, in a daring move, I plan to have a party on my birthday this year. This is risky, given how busy many people are on Christmas Eve. However, many of my work friends have to be in the office on Christmas Day, so they are in town. And a few others will be spending the week in the city, plus my parents and brother will be there. Hopefully, it won't be a total bust!
