craigslist

My preferred craigslist topics are jobs, personals, and housing. Unless I'm looking for something like a television. Or when I posted to the site to trying to solicit donations for the triathlon. (I thought I'd gotten two of my donators from the ads, to the tune of $125, but I've since found out the donations were from friends of friends.)

Craigslist is amazing. There is so much information, for so many cities. And a person can get anything he wants, from sex to drugs to grant-writing gigs.

Sometimes, to torture myself, I scan the ads on the Maine craiglist listings. I was just looking at houses in Portland. I usually just look at the rentals, but tonight I was checking out the "real estate for sale" thread. I guess this little studio is feeling a little small lately. And privacy and anonymity aren't what they used to be.

i hear you - i drove through portland today, very slowly back towards boston, admiring yards, driveways, single family homes and other such luxuries.

now if only the maine jobs posted on craigslist were as enticing as those real-estate options.

Craigs List sucks for Santa Fe. People still prefer the Thrifty Nickel newspaper here. Which is dumb.
