back in the saddle

Today was the first Wednesday of post-Lenten jogging with my brother. We're keeping it up...which is good because I haven't been getting a ton of exercise otherwise. Perhaps one other run per week, and my regular walking around. It occurs to me that summer soon-to-be upon us, and I should begin training for the triathlons at the end of the season. I want to be faster this year! I have a swim date next week and talks have begun about dusting off the bicycle and getting back in the saddle. But it's easy to think big the hour after you've finished a run. I think smaller most other times: like if I just do some bicep curls I'll be ready to take on Casco Bay in September.
