Newburyport's Literary Festival

My mom is on the cover of Newburyport, Massachusetts' local paper, The Daily News! The event was this past weekend in town and was a huge success. My brother, father and I all led panels, but my mom is the founder of the festival, and certainly the face of it. I was with her in town on Friday and it was impossible to get two feet without running into someone she knows. She loves it, but I thought: "This is why I live in New York." But, as my asute friend, Mary, pointed out, my mom would know anyone in her neighborhood if she were a New Yorker...she's just that way.

Read more about the event here.

Shout out to my pop who is winning in tennis in a national tournament in Arizona! GO DAD!
