say it ain't so...

I've worn these sneakers all over New York. Worn them out, apparently. Some would recommend duck tape, but I know some others would be appalled at the very idea. There's a school of thought that a 32-year-old woman shouldn't wear blue jeans and sneakers anymore.

I want you all to know: one of my life goals is to be able to wear sneakers whenever I want.

I am with you! I am sporting a red pair and Greg has green ones. I am trying to get Aidan in a cream pair I picked up at a yard sale but because I am expressing interest, he is totally unwilling! Can't force the chucks.

Shoe Goo! So much better than duct tape, it will repair your beloved tennis shoes, and the seal is weather proof. If skateboarders can use it to prolong the life of their shoes, it just might work for you! That rip on the fabric to sole join does look pretty severe, but I say spring for the $5 tube of Shoe Goo before you give up on your favorite pair of chucks :)
