NYC

I'm back in the city for just a few days. Although I've incessantly complained about the New York summer for eight years running, I'm so happy to be here! It's so alive and vibrant and there are so many people. It seems like there is something magical happening on every corner...a boy learning to ride a bike; a girl playing in the water from a gushing fire hydrant; a young man, just starting his Big City life, getting advice from a septuagenarian who has lived here for her whole life. I'll be back for good soon, and although it might frustrate me at times, I'm not sure I could ever really leave New York again.

Wow. I guess sometimes you have to try something different to see what's important to you. Identifying what it is you want in your life is so powerful. Glad you know it's NYC where you want to be.
