After seven years, I finally
feel like a New Yorker. I’ve lived here longer than I’ve lived anywhere else,
as a matter of fact. I’m a writer/editor-type. I like to make things: collages,
food, clothes, occasional messes. I went to high school in Maine, college in
New Mexico, and graduate school in New York. Now I work at the New York Sun
slinging words: mine and other people’s.
For a long time, I was looking for a way out, but now I feel more
settled and am just looking to take longer vacations.
